What Do I Do if I Find a Tick on my Pet?
After taking your pet out for a fun walk, you thoroughly check their coat and OH NO! you’ realize a tick has attached itself onto your pet. Stay calm, its important to remember that you’ve found the tick! Take action immediately, the longer ticks are allowed to feed the greater the chance of transmitting disease.
The next step is to remove the tick off your pet, if possible we advise allowing a veterinarian to remove the tick to ensure all the tick is removed. However, if you need to remove the tick at home, keep reading!

Over the holiday season, we raised a total of $276 through our Christmas Ornament Fundraiser and gathered several donations through M.A.C's 12 Paw-liday Specials. These donations will go towards keeping these furry friends comfortable while they await their forever families.
Dr. Mac had the pleasure of presenting the donations on behalf of all the M.A.C Animal Clinic Families to Alex, from the Burlington Humane Society this week.

The past 6 months has been a great journey for our team. From meeting new clients to welcoming old friends back into our lives to celebrating with you at our Open House, we would like to thank everyone for your support.
